RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) requires the submission of an Annual Action Plan (AAP) to govern the expenditure of federal entitlement funding; and
WHEREAS, an amendment to the AAP is required to substantially change the purpose, location, scope or beneficiaries of a project; and
WHEREAS, the proposed first amendment to the Program Year 2022 (PY 2022) AAP reallocates $200,000 of CDBG funds from an affordable housing project no longer moving forward to a Permanent Supportive Housing Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the first amendment to the PY 2022 AAP is hereby approved; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Chair of the Lake County Board or their designee is hereby authorized to execute the necessary documents to complete the submission of the amended PY 2022 AAP.
