• Aruba devices provide fast, secure, and reliable wireless connectivity to Lake County, and it is necessary to support all of the County’s controllers and licensing.
• Pursuant to Chapter 33.115 of the County’s Purchasing Ordinance, Cooperative Joint Purchasing Authorized, the County may participate in a cooperative purchasing agreement for the procurement of goods, services, construction, or professional services with one or more public procurement units in accordance with an agreement entered into between the participants.
• A cooperative purchasing contract with CDW-G has been identified through Omnia Partners, formally known as NIPA (2018011-01) to procure needed goods, services, construction, or professional services that were competitively solicited and awarded.

RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Aruba devices provide fast, secure, and reliable wireless connectivity to Lake County, and it is necessary to support all of the County’s controllers and licensing; and
WHEREAS, Pursuant to Chapter 33.115 of the County’s Purchasing Ordinance, Cooperative Joint Purchasing Authorized, the County may participate in a cooperative purchasing agreement for the procurement of goods, services, construction, or professional services with one or more public procurement units in accordance with an agreement entered into between the participants; and
WHEREAS, A cooperative purchasing contract with CDW-G has been identified through Omnia Partners, formally known as NIPA (2018011-01), to procure needed goods, services, construction, or professional services that were competitively solicited and awarded.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this Lake County Board, that the Purchasing Agent is authorized to renew a contract with CDW-G for Aruba Support in the amount of $57,942.43 for a two-year period in the amount of $57,942.43 to be charged to 101-1300010-71230.
