RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the County of Lake (County) owns and operates well water systems throughout the County in areas such as: Countryside Lake, Brooks Farm, Pekara, and Highland Lake; and
WHEREAS, the well pumps and casings in the water systems are in need of inspection, maintenance, and repair on an on-going basis; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, bids were called for by publication for Well Pump Maintenance and Repair Services; and
WHEREAS, two sealed bids were received, Water Well Solutions Illinois Division, LLC is the lowest responsive and responsible bidder in the amount of $63,450 annually.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Purchasing Agent is hereby authorized and directed to execute a two-year contract with Water Well Solutions Illinois Division, LLC Division, Elburn, IL in the amount of $63,450 annually for Well Pump Maintenance and Repair Services.
