COVID-19 Vaccine Update
The COVID-19 mass vaccination sites at Grand Avenue Health Center and Midlakes Health Center closed on August 5, 2022. COVID-19 vaccinations and boosters are now available to our patients during their regular provider visits at the following locations:
• Belvidere Medical Building
• Grand Avenue Health Center
• Midlakes Health Center
• North Chicago Health Center
• North Shore Health Center
• School Based Health Center
• Zion Health Center
COVID-19 vaccines are available for ages 6 months and older. At each visit, providers and their care teams continue to encourage patients, their eligible family members and friends to get vaccinated.
Staffing Update:
Staffing challenges continue related to hiring support staff, primarily Patient Access Center (PAC) clerks. Recruitment of Medical Assistants (MA) has improved as we are down to four MA vacancies. Leadership continues to work with our recruiters on different strategies.
