Staff Summary
* Engineering Service for the SCADA Phase III project is under contract with Donohue and Associates, Inc., Chicago, Illinois, in the amount of $69,680 under Professional Services Agreement #20022 effective July 14, 2020. Under its initial terms, Agreement #20022 anticipated engineering services for the project to be provided in three parts, with the agreement authorizing the initial preliminary engineering stage.
* Contractor Modification Number One, in the amount of $82,595, was approved on October 13, 2020 to provide the second stage of engineering services for the project including some final design engineering.
* Contract Modification Number Two is required to provide the third and final stage of engineering for the project covering additional final design, bidding and construction services engineering for the SCADA Phase III project.
* Contract Modification Number Two increases the amount of the Engineering Services contract by $176,600, from $152,275 to $328,875.
* In accordance with Section 33.082 of the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance it is hereby requested that the Purchasing Agent be authorized to enter into Contract Modification Number Two.
