Illinois Department of Human Services 999 Sustainability Grant - Johnson

Lake County Health Department and Community Health Center (LCHD/CHC) received, through the Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS), grant funding in the amount of $298,498.00. The period of performance is July 1, 2021, to June 30, 2022. The purpose of this funding is to invest in mental health services to maintain pre-COVID-19 capacity, reduce interruptions in service, and retain staff through retention/recruitment payments to sustain service delivery. This will fund retention bonuses, sign on bonuses, and cover costs of Behavioral Health services for unfunded or underfunded clients.
Suggested Motion
To approve the 999 Sustainability grant funding from the Illinois Department of Human Services and emergency appropriate $298,498.00 for LCFY22.
