RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the Lake County Board, recognizes the month of June 2022 as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Plus (LGBTQ+) Pride Month throughout Lake County; and
WHEREAS, Lake County is committed to supporting the rights of dignity, worth, and freedom of the LGBTQ+ community and calls upon its residents to embrace these principles and work to eliminate prejudice.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the LGBTQ+ Pride Flag be raised in the Lincoln Plaza at the Lake County Administrative Complex in Waukegan in support of the Lake County LGBTQ+ Community during the month of June 2022.
