Joint resolution to enter into a contract with WSI Technologies, Indianapolis, IN to provide five NICE IP loggers, two NICE Inform servers, software, and services from WSI Technologies Indianapolis, IN in the amount of $426,690.

 

Staff Summary

                     There is a need to upgrade the existing NICE IP logger and Inform servers to accommodate Next Generation 9-1-1 technologies and continue to support interoperability with partner agencies through existing IGAs.

                     The existing NICE IP loggers and Inform servers have exceeded their useful life and cannot be upgraded.

                     In accordance with Section 33.115 of the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, a contract was awarded by Marion County, Ocala, FL will be used to procure the WSI Technologies (Word System).

RESOLUTION

 

WHEREAS, there is a need to upgrade the existing NICE IP loggers and Inform servers for Lake County ETSB and partner agencies.

 

WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 33.115 of the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, the County Purchasing Division has identified a competitively solicited and awarded contract awarded by Marion County, Ocala, FL; and

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Purchasing Agent is authorized to enter into a contract with WSI Technologies, Indianapolis, IN to provide five NICE IP loggers, two NICE Inform servers, software, and services from WSI Technologies, Indianapolis, IN in the amount of $426,690.
