R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 5-102 of the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, bids were called for, by publication, for replacement of 70 outdated video encoders for the Lake County PASSAGE Network for the Lake County Division of Transportation; and
WHEREAS, subsequent to said publication, bid documents were downloaded by five potential bidders; and
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received from two vendors and opened in the Lake County Administrative Building, Waukegan, Illinois, on March 1, 2022, at 11:00 a.m.; and
WHEREAS, Treehaven Technologies, Inc., Powell, Ohio, had the lowest bid of $76,930; and
WHEREAS, an appropriation of funds is required.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by this Lake County Board, that a contract, and any amendments, be authorized with Treehaven Technologies, Inc., Powell, Ohio, in the amount of $76,930 for the purchase of 70 video encoders for the Lake County PASSAGE Network, and designated as Section 22-00268-25-TL.
