WHEREAS, there is a vacancy on the Lake County Sheriff’s Office Merit Commission; and

WHEREAS, your Chair requests that this County Board confirm the appointment of Gary Thommes as a member of the Lake County Sheriff’s Office Merit Commission to fill the remainder of the vacancy for a term beginning immediately and ending on December 14, 2027.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the appointment of Gary Thommes as a member of the Lake County Sheriff’s Office Merit Commission for a term beginning immediately and ending on December 14, 2027 be, and the same is hereby confirmed.
