Lake County Health Department and Community Health Center (LCHD/CHC) received an Illinois Department of Public Health - Influenza Vaccine Promotion grant in the amount of $25,000 for the period, July 1, 2021 - June 30, 2022. The amount requested to be appropriated in LCFY21 is $10,417 and for LCFY22 is $14,583. This grant supports work to increase flu vaccine uptake in both LCHD/CHC FQHC patients and the broader Lake County community. This will fund some advertising and existing staff salary and fringe benefits.
Suggested Motion
To approve the Illinois Department of Public Health additional grant funding of $25,000 and emergency appropriate $10,417 for LCFY21 and $13,292 for LCFY22.
