RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the Illinois DCEO has provided a TAA grant totaling $167,768.76 to the Lake County Workforce Development Department; and
WHEREAS, this TAA grant is for the program period of January 1, 2021 through September 30, 2021; and
WHEREAS, this grant covers training and transportation expenses for displaced workers and payment processing; and
WHEREAS, an emergency appropriation of $167,768.76 is requested to allocate these funds into the Workforce Department’s county fiscal year 2021 budget and authorize acceptance of this grant.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that an emergency appropriation in the amount of $167,768.76 for the Workforce Development Department is hereby approved and that the TAA grant be accepted.
