* Gary Gibson was appointed as the County Administrator of Lake County in February, 2020 with a 2 year agreement.
* Over the previous 2 years Gary has done an admirable job leading the County through the COVID-19 pandemic, working continuously and tirelessly to improve and support staff morale across the organization. Gary has garnered strong respect amongst his peers and County staff, continues to foster a positive and transparent work environment within Lake County Government, and continues to create and strengthen relationships with the County's external partners.
* Based on his excellent performance, the Lake County Board resolves to amend the previous agreement, extending the period of employment, and increasing his salary for an additional 2 years.

RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the County is interested in extending the period of employment under the Original Employment Agreement with the County Administrator; and
WHEREAS, the County is interested in revising the salary of the County Administrator for the period of said extension of the period of employment; and
WHEREAS, the remainder of the terms and conditions as stated in the Original Employment Agreement between the County and County Administrator are to be renewed and carried forward through the amended period of employment; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Parties agree to amend the Original Employment Agreement to extend the Period of Employment from the Original Employment Agreement as established in the Amendment #1 to the Agreement; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the County Administrator's Salary is revised as established in the Amendment #1 to the Agreement; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the remainder of all terms and conditions as stated in the Original Employment Agreement are to be renewed and enforceable for the period of employment as established in the Amendment ...
