Provider Collaboration
* Dr. Alvia Sabahat has transitioned into her new role as Regional Medical Director.
* The three new pediatricians have completed their orientation and are providing patient care in their assigned clinics.

Clinical Operations
* COVID-19 vaccinations for patients aged 5-11 began Monday, November 8, 2021, as part of their regular medical appointment.
* The Podiatry Clinic will begin on Friday, November 19, 2021, and will provide services every Friday at the Grand Avenue Health Center.
* The ARPA grant for provider usage of an e-consult internet-based service was approved. Primary care leadership has been interviewing e-consult vendors and reviewing their software.
* The ARPA grant and Quality grant funds will be used in the purchase of a retinal screening machine for each clinic site.
* Focus of Patients: Attached to this report is data on external referrals. Data is broken down by specialty and funded versus unfunded patients. As noted, the top referrals are Cardiology, Dermatology, Gastroenterology, Ophthalmology and Orthopedic Surgery.

External Relations
* Lake County PADS (Providing Advocacy, Dignity and Shelter) clients are moving back into their shelters. Primary care leadership has met with the new Directors of PADS and are working to continue providing services to these clients.
* North Shore University Health System has expressed interest in providing specialty services funded through the ARPA grant.

Regulatory
* The JCAHO and HRSA continuous readiness process is ongoing.

Psychiatry/MAT
Provider Collaboration
* No updates at this time.

Clinic Operations
* No significant FQHC-related changes in clinical operations. Most services continue to be provided using telephone or video encounters, though face-to-face appointments are available daily.
* The department is looking into using telehealth vendor(s) to add more psychiatry capacity.
