ORDINANCE
WHEREAS, SSA Number Thirteen was established by the Lake County Board on November Thirteen, 2007; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said Establishing Ordinance, the County is authorized to impose a levy sufficient to pay the cost of the annual debt payment for SSA Number Thirteen for twenty (20) years; and
WHEREAS, said annual levy shall be placed upon all taxable property within said SSA Number Thirteen; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Establishing Ordinance, the amount to be levied annually shall be $226,058.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that there be and there is levied upon all of the taxable property in said SSA Number Thirteen, in addition to all other taxes, a direct tax of $226,058 with said tax to be collected for tax year 2021; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Department of Finance and Administrative Services shall cause the foregoing taxes to be allocated in the manner provided by the Establishing Ordinance and that the Department of Finance and Administrative Services is hereby directed to prepare and deliver to the County Clerk a detailed statement of the foregoing taxes as allocated and applied to all taxable properties throughout SSA Number Thirteen.
