RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, Lake County takes pride in aligning our Employee Policies with our values of diversity and inclusion; and

WHEREAS, The Financial and Administrative Committee provided direction to add Juneteenth as an additional paid holiday at the Committee’s September 30 Meeting; and

WHEREAS, Lake County joins other governmental organizations which have taken similar action to recognize the historical significance of Juneteenth.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by this Lake County Board, that the resolution adopting a revised section 4.1 Paid Holidays of the Employee Policies and Procedures Manual be approved.
