RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the subcontractor award with CLC in the Illinois Community College Board Workforce Equity Initiative Grant totaling $5,000 to the Lake County Workforce Development Department; and
WHEREAS, this funding covers expenses for job readiness training leading to employment in a sustainable wage career pathway and extends the program period to December 31, 2021; and
WHEREAS, an emergency appropriation of $5,000 is requested to allocate these funds into the Workforce Department’s county fiscal year 2021 budget and authorize acceptance of this grant.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that an emergency appropriation in the amount of $5,000 for the Workforce Development Department is hereby approved and that the subcontractor agreement modification between Lake County Workforce Development and CLC in the Illinois ICCB WEI Grant be accepted.
