Staff Summary
• As part of the Modified Fiscal Year (FY) 2021 Budget and in alignment with the Facilities Capital Improvement Plan, design of a new Consolidated 911, Emergency Management Agency (EMA), and Emergency Telephone Systems Board (ETSB) Facility was authorized.
• Lake County issued Statement of Interest number 21119 which described the scope of services required to provide a comprehensive design solution for the new facility.
• Solicitations were sent to 60 firms, and responses were received from three.
• In accordance with the Local Government Professional Services Selection Act, a selection Committee evaluated and interviewed all three firms, and Wold Architects and Engineers, Palatine, Illinois, was determined to be the most qualified firm and negotiations were conducted.
• To fulfill the Board's priorities and direction, County Administration recommends the County enter into a contract with Wold Architects and Engineers in the amount of$1,613,508.

R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, the County desires to contract with an Architectural/Engineering Design Services for the Consolidated 911 and Emergency Operations Center in Libertyville, Illinois; and
WHEREAS, Wold Architects and Engineers will provide basic architect of record services commensurate with a programming, schematic design, design development, and contract documents; and
WHEREAS, this award continues the design efforts and strategic prioritization identified by the Lake County Board; and
WHEREAS, the Lake County Purchasing received and evaluated Statements of Interests from three professional firms of which three were short-listed; and
WHEREAS, Lake County, has selected Wold Architects and Engineers, in accordance with the Local Government Professional Services Selection Act, 50 ILCS 510/1 et. seq.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by this Lake County Board, that the Purchasing Agent is authorized and directed to execute on behalf of Lake County, an agreement, and any amendments, between Wold Architects and Engineers, Palatine, Illinois, in the amount of $1,613,508, for architecture and engineering services for a new Consolidated 911 and Emergency Operations Center.
