• Constellation NewEnergy Gas Division, LLC included a cost of $0.03 per therm for carbon offsets. If the Board opts to undertake this option, the addition is estimated to increase the cost of the contract by $30,000 to an annual estimated amount of $427,580.

R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, there is a need to enter into a contract with a successful vendor for Natural Gas Transportation and Management Services; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 5-102 of the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, Bids were called for by publication for Natural Gas Transportation and Management Services; and
WHEREAS, electronic bids were received from two vendors and publicly opened on August 17, 2021, at 11:00 a.m.; and
WHEREAS, based on the criteria set forth in the Invitation for Bid it has been determined that the Bid submitted by NewEnergy Gas Division, LLC Louisville, Kentucky is the lowest responsive and responsible bidder for Lake County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Purchasing Agent is authorized to enter into a one-year contract with four additional one year renewal options with NewEnergy Gas Division, LLC Louisville, Kentucky for Natural Gas Transportation and Management Services in the estimated annual amount of $397,580.00.
