RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, the Illinois Supreme Court Commission on Access to Justice has awarded the Nineteenth Judicial Circuit Court $20,000 to support the work of the Court's SRL Coordinator for the grant period of August 1, 2021 through July 31, 2022; and

WHEREAS, the funding will be used to partially offset the salary of the Self-Represented Litigant Coordinator, continue the Nineteenth Judicial Circuit Court's early resolution program and aid in the development of a chat feature on the Court's web-site; and

WHEREAS, the funding will be used to partially offset the salary of the Self-Represented Litigant Coordinator, continue the Nineteenth Judicial Circuit Court's early resolution program and aid in the development of a chat feature on the Court's web-site; and

WHEREAS, the County Board must authorize an emergency appropriation of $20,000 to implement this grant.
