* The County's share of the project for the improvements to Wilson Road is estimated to be $10,440.
* This project is included in the Transportation Improvement Program with construction expected to begin in 2021 and designated as Section 21-00070-11-WR.

R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Wilson Road, County Highway 7, is a designated route on the County highway system; and
WHEREAS, the State of Illinois and Lake County believe it would be beneficial to the safety and welfare of the traveling public if the intersection of Illinois Route 60 and Wilson Road could be improved by the installation of a new traffic signal and turn lanes; and
WHEREAS, the State of Illinois and Lake County are desirous of entering into an agreement for the above referenced improvement, a draft copy of which is attached hereto; and
WHEREAS, an appropriation of funds is required.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by this Lake County Board, that the County Board Chair, the County Clerk, and the County Engineer of Lake County are authorized, and they are directed to execute an agreement, and any subsequent amendments, for the improvement at the intersection of Illinois Route 60 and Wilson Road, and designated as Section 21-00070-11-WR.
