RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, Lakes Region Sanitary District Member J. Kevin Hunter has provided a letter of resignation dated July 9, 2021, effective July 12, 2021; and

WHEREAS, the resignation of Member J. Kevin Hunter creates a vacancy on the Lakes Region Sanitary District; and

WHEREAS, your Chair requests that this County Board confirm the appointment of Karen Porten as a member of the Lakes Region Sanitary District to complete the vacated seat’s term, with an ending date of May 2, 2022.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the appointment of Karen Porten to the Lakes Region Sanitary District for a term ending May 2, 2022, be, and the same is hereby confirmed.
