On May 24, 2021, IDPH awarded Lake County Health Department and Community Health Center (LCHD/CHC) an amendment to support contact tracing programs to maintain capacity, respond to COVID-19 outbreaks in congregate settings, facilities, and communities, and perform necessary interventions in vulnerable and health disparity populations, ensuring health equity and addressing community and regional networks for successful sustainability of the local contact tracing program. The grant amendment amount is $3,000,000. The grant period is June 1, 2020 - December 31, 2021. The $3,000,000 will be appropriated in LCFY21. These funds will be used to support contractual contact tracers, interpreter services, operational supplies, computer equipment, and cellular data plans.

To approve the Illinois Department of Public Health additional grant funding and emergency appropriate $3,000,000 in LCFY21.
