On May 19, 2021, Lake County Health Department and Community Health Center (LCHD/CHC) received additional funds from the IDPH HIV/AIDS Quality of Life Program grant in the amount of $25,000 for the period November 15, 2020 - June 30, 2021. The amount requested to be appropriated in LCFY21 is $25,000. LCHD/CHC will conduct prioritized HIV Risk Reduction Activities, provide Comprehensive Risk Counseling Services for Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis, and Supplemental Services. These funds will be used to offset existing staff salaries and fringe benefits.
Suggested Motion
To approve the Illinois Department of Public Health additional grant funding and emergency appropriate $25,000 in LCFY21.
