Staff Summary
• On May 10, 20201, a communication was published requesting applications for interested individuals to be appointed to the newly created independent Ethics Commission.
• Applications were accepted through May 21, 2021 and a total of 118 applications were received.
• The County Administrator’s Office and the State’s Attorney’s Office has completed an initial review of the applications and a brief summary will be provided to the committee for feedback and direction on initial selection criteria.
• Next steps and a proposed timeline for appointment will be reviewed at the committee meeting.
