R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, there is a need to enter into a contract with a successful vendor to provide herbicide application services for Lake County; and
WHEREAS, the contractor shall provide all materials and labor for the herbicide application to right-of-ways; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Chapter 33.036 of the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, a bid was called for, by publication, for herbicide application to the right-of-way for the Lake County Division of Transportation; and
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received from two vendors at the Lake County Administrative Building, Waukegan, Illinois, on May 18, 2021; and
WHEREAS, based on the criteria set forth in the bid; the staff evaluated all bids submitted and determined that the bid submitted by TGF Enterprises, Inc., Libertyville, Illinois, in the amount of $34,396.44 is the lowest responsive and responsible bidder for Lake County.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by this Lake County Board, that the Purchasing Agent is authorized to enter into a contract with TGF Enterprises, Inc., for herbicide application services in the estimated amount of $34,396.44, charged to account #268-4300040-65030.
