R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, there is a need to enter into a contract with a successful vendor to perform tree removal and tree trimming service for the Lake County Division of Transportation; and
WHEREAS, the contract shall include tree cutting services, tree removal, tree trimming, tree stump grinding, tree debris disposal, and emergency tree removal services as required; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Chapter 33.036 of the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, a bid was called for, by publication, for tree removal and tree trimming service for the Lake County Division of Transportation; and
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received from four vendors at the Lake County Administrative Building, Waukegan, Illinois, on March 30, 2021; and
WHEREAS, based on the criteria set forth in the bid; the staff evaluated all bids submitted and determined that the bid submitted by Ciosek Tree Service, Lombard, Illinois, in the amount of $35,365 is the lowest responsive and responsible bidder for Lake County.
