RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the provisions of 70 ILCS 3615 provide that the Chair of the Lake County Board shall appoint one director to the Metra Board of Directors with the advice and consent of the Lake County Board, and the appointee shall reside in Lake County; and
WHEREAS, the appointment of Norman Carlson to the Metra Board of Directors expired on Friday, April 9, 2021; and
WHEREAS, your Chair hereby recommends the reappointment of Norman Carlson to the Metra Board of Directors for a four-year term beginning on Saturday, April 10, 2021 ending on Monday, March 31, 2025; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the reappointment of Norman Carlson for a term beginning on April 10, 2021 and ending Monday, March 31, 2025, be, and the same is hereby confirmed.
