On March 10, 2021, the Illinois Department of Public Health awarded the Lake County Health Department and Community Health Center with $170,000 in additional funding for the Illinois Breast and Cervical Cancer Program (IBCCP). Funds are for the state fiscal year 2021 which runs from July 1, 2020 - June 30, 2021. The additional funding will be used for medical and radiological fees to support the program. The IBCCP program provides mammograms and cervical cancer screenings to uninsured women in Lake County.

To approve $170,000 in additional funding from the Illinois Department of Public Health to support the Illinois Breast and Cervical Cancer Program.
