R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Quentin Road, County Highway 5, is a designated route on the County highway system; and
WHEREAS, Lake County recently completed improvements to Quentin Road, from Illinois Route 22 and White Pine Road, including widening from two to five lanes, installation of non-motorized facilities, and the installation of noise walls; and
WHEREAS, Lake County and the Village of Lake Zurich (Village) are desirous to establish guidelines and restrictions for fence extensions and use of the area between the right-of-way line and the noise wall; and
WHEREAS, Lake County will retain permitting authority for the Quentin Road right-of-way except that the Village will issue permits to property owners that wish to extend their fence up to the noise wall in accordance with these guidelines and restrictions; and
WHEREAS, Lake County and the Village are desirous of entering into an agreement to establish noise wall guidelines and restrictions, a draft copy of which is attached hereto.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by this Lake County Board, that the County Board Chair, the County Clerk, and the County Engineer of Lake County, Illinois, are authorized, and are hereby directed to enter into an agreement, and any subsequent amendments, between Lake County and the Village of ...
