RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, HUD requires the submission of an AAP and associated amendments to govern the expenditure of federal funding; and
WHEREAS, HUD announced a second allocation of CDBG-CV3 Program funding through the CARES Act to Lake County in the amount of $3,063,537; and
WHEREAS, applications for CDBG-CV3 funding were received on January 11, 2021; and
WHEREAS, applications were reviewed and approved by the HCDC Advisory and Recommendation Committees; and
WHEREAS, the proposed fourth amendment to the Program Year 2019 (PY19) AAP allocates $3,063,537 (Community Partners for Affordable Housing - $270,000 [includes $20,000 of City of North Chicago CDBG-CV3]; Lake County Housing Authority - $300,000; PADS Lake County - $676,389 [includes $30,000 of City of North Chicago CDBG-CV3]; Highwood Public Library - $33,396; Lake County Community Development Rental Program Support - $420,000 [includes $20,000 of City of North Chicago CDBG-CV3]; United Way Lake County - $110,000 [includes $10,000 of City of North Chicago CDBG-CV3]; Mano a Mano - $50,000; Northern Illinois Food Bank - $312,045 [includes $62,045 of City of North Chicago CDBG-CV3]; North Suburban Legal Aid Clinic - $125,000; Prairie State Legal Services - $154,000 and Lake County Community Development Administration - $612,707) of CDBG-CV3 funding; and
