Staff Summary
• This resolution authorizes emergency appropriations in the FY 2021 LCDOT capital funds budget for previously approved projects.
• These projects and revenue were not included in the FY 2021 budget.
• Without this action, these projects and revenue will not have the budget authority required.
• Due to the nature of transportation project work occurring over multiple years, this is a routine annual appropriation request to carry forward previously appropriated funds into the current fiscal year.

R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, as part of the budget preparation for FY 2021, and as part of the year end activities for FY 2020, certain projects have been identified in the FY 2020 budget that, for a variety of reasons, will not be completed or, in the case of revenue, was not received by the end of the fiscal year; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the FY 2021 budget to re-authorize the associated budgets for the previously approved projects and appropriate the carryover revenue.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by this Lake County Board, that emergency appropriations for FY 2021 for the LCDOT capital funds, for projects previously approved, are hereby authorized as detailed in the attached listing, which is hereby made a part of this resolution.
