Staff Summary

                     This is a two-year agreement beginning December 1, 2020 through November 30, 2022 and covers approximately 10 employees in the Health Department.

RESOLUTION

 

WHEREAS, the Operating Engineers Local Number 150 has been recognized as the sole and exclusive bargaining agent for certain employees in the Lake County Health Department; and

 

WHEREAS, a successor collective bargaining agreement has been negotiated with the Operating Engineers Local 150, as the exclusive representative of certain employees in the Lake County Health Department, consistent with the Illinois Public Labor Relations Act; and

 

WHEREAS, the Financial and Administrative Committee reviewed and approved said agreement at its January 7, 2021 meeting.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, that the Chair of the County Board is hereby authorized to sign the Collective Bargaining Agreement attached hereto and made a part of this resolution; and

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this Agreement shall be effective from December 1, 2020 through November 30, 2022, consistent with the Illinois Public Labor Relations Act 5 ILCS 315/21.
