Staff Summary

                     In 2004 the County Board established the Woods of Ivanhoe SSA.

                     This SSA provides funds to maintain private roads in Ivanhoe Subdivision.

                     The levy amount was determined by the Homeowner’s Association.

ORDINANCE

 

WHEREAS, a levy ordinance for Special Service Area Number Twelve was approved by the Lake County Board on July 13, 2004; and

 

WHEREAS, a levy ordinance for Special Service Area Number Twelve was renewed by the Lake County Board on June 11, 2019; and

 

WHEREAS, said Ordinance stated that a levy sufficient to pay the cost of private road maintenance for Special Service Area Number Twelve, up to $500 per lot, shall be made each year thereafter.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that there be and there is levied upon all of the taxable property in said Special Service Area Number Twelve, in addition to all other taxes, a direct tax of Thirty-four thousand, four hundred dollars ($34,400) for tax year 2020.
