Steans Family Foundation - Coordinated Intake Program - $40,000 - Grant Approval - McMillan-Wilhoit

The Lake County Health Department and Community Health Center (LCHD/CHC) received renewed Steans Family Foundation grant funding in the amount of $40,000 for the time period July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021. The amount requested to be appropriated In LCFY20 is $16,667. The difference has been accounted for in the LCFY21 budget. This program is for North Chicago children and families in need of home visit and supportive services. This will continue to fund a Community Health Specialist, telecommunications and offset existing salary and fringe benefits.
Suggested Motion
To approve the Steans Family Foundation renewed funding of $40,000 and emergency appropriate $16,667 for LCFY20.
