• The Lake County Division of Transportation and Lake County’s PASSAGE system gathers data from traffic signals, counters, pavement sensors, cameras, and snowplows to manage traffic and provide the public with this information through various means to make an informed decision when traveling.
• This project is included in the Transportation Improvement Program, and designated as Section 21-00000-18-GM.

R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, LCDOT desires to utilize cellular and landline phone services to communicate with various field assets throughout the County; and
WHEREAS, LCDOT and Lake County’s PASSAGE system gathers data from traffic signals, counters, pavement sensors, cameras, and snowplows to manage traffic and provide the public with this information through various means to make an informed choice when traveling; and
WHEREAS, an appropriation of funds is required.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by this Lake County Board, that there is hereby appropriated $40,000 of ¼% Sales Tax for Transportation funds for cellular service, landline phone service, and electrical service to communicate with various field assets throughout the County and integration with Lake County PASSAGE, and designated as Section 21-00000-18-GM.
