RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, The Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity has provided WIOA Rapid Response grant totaling $14,891 to the Lake County Workforce Development Department; and,
WHEREAS, this funding covers staffing expenses related to case management of dislocated workers; and
WHEREAS, WIOA Rapid Response grant is for the program period of July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2021; and
WHEREAS, an emergency appropriation of $14,891 is requested to allocate these funds into the Workforce Department’s county fiscal year 2020 budget and authorize acceptance of this grant.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that an emergency appropriation in the amount of $14,891 for the Workforce Development Department is hereby approved and that the WIOA Rapid Response grant be accepted.
