Replacement and new grant funding of $596,860 from the Kenneth Young Center - Johnson-Maurello

Kenneth Young Center has become the new replacement funding agency for three services funded by the Illinois Department of Human Services until March 30, 2020: Quality Administrator, Integrated Health, and Transition Coordination. The grant has expanded services to transition more clients from Institutes for Mental Disease specifically Bayside Terrace and Lake Park Center. The funding amount is $161,152 for the period April 1, 2020 to June 30, 2020 and $435,708 for the period July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021. We will only be appropriating a combined total of $121,196 due to the three services being already accounted for in the LCFY20 budget. The new funding amount will be in the LCFY21 budget. This will continue to fund staff, supplies, and contractual services, and a new Staff Nurse, new Transition Coordinator, additional supplies and equipment.
Suggested Motion
To approve the replacement and new grant funding of $596,860 from the Kenneth Young Center and request an emergency appropriation in the amount $121,196.
