RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Lake County was granted $58,008 in BJA FY 2020 Coronavirus Supplemental Grant; and
WHEREAS, an emergency appropriation is necessary to make the funding available for the purposes specified in the grant; and
WHEREAS, these funds will be accounted for in a new management center to ensure that both the grant revenue and expenses are adequately tracked; and
WHEREAS, said designated personal protective equipment expenses have been determined to meet the guidelines set forth by the Coronavirus Emergency Supplemental Funding.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that an emergency appropriation in the amount of $58,008 in the Sheriff’s Department budget segregated in a management center specific for this grant, 3020020, is hereby authorized to establish both a revenue and expense budget for execution of the programs designated as indicated in the attachment.
