RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 4-102 of the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, bids were called for by publication for Vehicle Accessories and Outfitting for the Lake County Sheriff's Office; and
WHEREAS, subsequent to said publication, an Invitation to Bid was extended to 31 vendors; and
WHEREAS, bids were received from four vendors; and opened by the Lake County Purchasing Dept, Waukegan, Illinois on May 6, 2020 at 11:00 a.m.; and
WHEREAS, based on the criteria set forth in the Invitation to Bid; the staff evaluated the bids submitted and determined that Chicago Parts and Sound, LLC of Tinley Park, IL is the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Purchasing Agent is hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Chicago Parts and Sound, LLC in Tinley Park, IL for vehicle accessories and outfitting for the Lake County Sheriff's Office in the estimated annual amount of $357,763...
