Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Coronavirus Supplemental Funding (COVID-19), $103,435 - Zun

On March 19, 2020, HRSA awarded the Lake County Health Department and Community Health Center (LCHD/CHC) a total of $103,435 for Coronavirus Supplemental Funding (COVID-19). The amount received was based on 1) a base value of $50,464; 2) $0.50 per patient reported in the 2018 Uniform Data System (UDS); and 3) $2.50 per uninsured patient reported in the 2018 UDS.
These funds are to be used to prevent, prepare and respond to COVID-19 in our community. LCHD/CHC will use these funds to purchase Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), laptop computers, Zoom licenses, tent set-up and rental, laboratory testing for uninsured patients, and additional cleaning for all health center locations. The grant period is March 15, 2020 to March 14, 2021.
