Staff Summary
* Lake County's Pavement Rejuvenator Program is an annual preventive maintenance program consisting of applying a pavement rejuvenator, a maltene based spray, on all new hot-mix asphalt roadway surfaces completed in the prior year's reconstruction and resurfacing projects.
* The pavement rejuvenator has been found to add about five years of life to the pavement.
* The 2020 Pavement Rejuvenator Program will include applying rejuvenator to the reconstruction and resurfacing projects from 2019.
* There was a public call for bids, and a total of one bid was received in the amount of $337,890.65. Corrective Asphalt, LLC was identified as the responsible bidder in the amount of $337,890.65.
* This project is included in the highway improvement program with construction in 2020, and designated as Section 20-00000-16-PP.

R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, pursuant to authority granted by this Lake County Board, the County Engineer heretofore called for sealed bids, by publication, for the application of a pavement rejuvenator on various County highways, and designated as Section 20-00000-16-PP; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said publication calling for said bid, sealed bids were received and opened on March 17, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. at the Lake County Division of Transportation in Libertyville, Illinois; a tabulation of said bids being as follows:
