Staff Summary
* Lake County has contracted with a third-party vendor to provide applicant tracking and on-boarding services for Human Services and the Health Department since 2014.
* The current agreement expires in April 2020 and there is a need to extend this agreement for an additional one-year term to avoid a disruption in services.
* The contract includes subscription services, user licenses, hosting service, maintenance for the applicant tracking system, and on-boarding services.
* Pursuant to Article Six, Section 102, the Purchasing Agent has approved the bid exemption on the basis of an existing long-standing successful relationship for services, and the knowledge gained through this relationship adds value integral to the services provided.

RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, in accordance with Article 6, Section 102 of the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, the Purchasing Agent approved a bid exemption on the basis of an existing long standing and successful relationship with the SilkRoad.

WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the County to enter into a one-year agreement with Silkroad, Chicago, IL in a not to exceed amount of $39,655; and

WHEREAS, in accordance with Article 6, Section 102 of the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, the Purchasing Agent has determined that this purchase is exempt from bidding on the basis that there exists a long standing, successful relationship for professional services, and the knowledge gained through this relationship adds value integral to the services provided.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Purchasing Agent is authorized to enter into a contract with Silkroad, Chicago, Illinois in a not to exceed amount of $39,655 for an applicant tracking and on-boarding services charged to various Lake Count...
