Lake County Health Department and Community Health Center (LCHD/CHC) has received additional funding in the amount of $105,000 for the period September 1, 2019 - August 31, 2020. This will support the planning and development of an Opioid Response Plan for Lake County and $84,302 will be appropriated in the LCFY20 budget. The appropriation is unbalanced as a majority of the grant dollars will be used to offset existing salary and fringe benefits.
Suggested Motion
To approve the additional funding of $105,000 from the Illinois Department of Public Health to support the Local Health Department Overdoses Surveillance and Response program.
