Special recognition of Adam Didech for His Service as a Lake County Board Member.

SPECIAL RECOGNITION OF ADAM DIDECH FOR HIS SERVICE AS A LAKE COUNTY BOARD MEMBER
WHEREAS, Adam Didech was elected in 2018 to serve as the District 20 representative on the Lake County Board and the Lake County Forest Preserves District Board; and
WHEREAS, during his service on the County Board, Adam Didech sat on numerous standing and ad hoc committees including as vice-chair of the Health and Community Services Committee and a member of the Financial and Administrative, Legislative, and Rules committees. He also served on the Housing and Community Development Commission; and
WHEREAS, as a Forest Preserve Commissioner, Adam Didech served as chair of the Legislative Committee and a member of the Planning, Rules, Diversity and Cultural Awareness Committees and a voting member of the Preservation Foundation of the Lake County Forest Preserves; and
WHEREAS, Adam Didech knew the importance of working collaboratively with fellow County Board members and prior to joining the Board sat down individually with each Board Member to understand their viewpoints; and
WHEREAS, Adam Didech was a leader in addressing anti-discrimination issues in Lake County and was instrumental in bringing people together to highlight and discuss equity and justice in our communities; and
WHEREAS, Adam Didech will be respected for his open mind, great sense of humor, and as someone who cared deeply about his constituents and studied issues important to them; and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Lake County Board offers its sincere gratitude and appreciation to Adam Didech for his dedicated public service to his community and to the citizens of Lake County as a Lake County Board Member.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this County Board offers its best wishes to Adam Didech in all his future endeavors.
