The Illinois Department of Public Health awarded the Lake County Health Department and Community Health Center (LCHD) additional funding in the amount of $157,506 for the Illinois Breast and Cervical Cancer Program (IBCCP) which provides mammograms and cervical cancer screenings to uninsured women in Lake County. The additional funds are for State FY 2020, July 1, 2019 - June 30, 2020, and will be used to support one new part-time nurse position. Additional new dollars will be used to cover the cost of mammograms for IBCCP participants. The total budgeted for this grant is now $807,506.

To approve $157,506 in additional funding from the Illinois Department of Public Health to support the Illinois Breast and Cervical Cancer Program.
