RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, the Lake County Coroner has received a grant from D.A.S.  Charitable Fund; and

WHEREAS, this grant amount totaling $6,800 has not been previously appropriated, having been awarded after adoption of the fiscal year FY2020 budget; and

WHEREAS, these funds will be used for operating expenses to care for the cadaver dog in an amount not to exceed $6,800; and

WHEREAS, the proposed appropriation will be fully offset by the above referenced items thereby not requiring the expenditure of local tax revenue.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that an emergency appropriation, with offsetting revenue, in the amount of $6,800 as outlined in the attached chart of accounts.
