Discussion of the One Water Management strategy.
Staff Summary
• As part of the 2019 update to the Strategic Plan, the Lake County Board adopted a strategic initiative to develop a One Water Management strategy to holistically approach challenges throughout the entire water cycle.
• Subsequent to the adoption of the Strategic Plan, in late 2019 staff convened a multi-departmental work group to evaluate the actions related to the One Water Management strategy and to begin developing an approach to establishing a coalition of stakeholders to purposefully address interrelated water issues.
• Staff will provide an overview of the One Water Management strategy and proposed next steps for Committee’s discussion.
