LCHD is in the second year of a Mental Health Awareness Training grant funded through SAMHSA (September 30, 2019 - September 29, 2020). The first two months of the second grant year fell in the FY 2019 budget, and actual expenses in this period exceeded the total budgeted amount for the program in the FY 2019 budget, therefore LCHD is requesting to appropriate an additional $20,833 in the FY 2019 budget. This will ensure the revenue for the program is appropriately allocated.
Suggested Motion
To approve the additional grant funding of $20,833 from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration to support the Mental Health Awareness Training grant for appropriation in the FY 2019 budget.
