2019 Highlights
• Hired full-time provider for North Chicago; currently in orientation
• Hired part-time provider for Belvidere/North Chicago; currently in orientation
• Hired Dental Hygienist for Midlakes
• Hired Dental Assistants for North Chicago and North Shore
• Completed our first year of operation at Zion
• An estimated 500 unique pediatric patient visits in the first year of operation at Zion
• Two dental staff members participated in the DPI Coleman activity
• Development of the SharePoint site, which contains sterilization record data as well as many of our Instructions for Use (IFU’s) for our clinical operations, continues
• Expanded dental data as compiled by the data team
• All dental assistants received their updated training in Infection Control and Sterilizations as well as their Sterilization Audit Competencies as this is a requirement for our Infection Control Plan
• A draft Radiation Safety protocol for dental operations has been developed
• The Infection Control policy for sterilization was recently updated and will soon be rolled out to staff
• Pending funding we anticipate adding a third chair at Zion
• Pending funding we anticipate renovating our North Chicago dental site
• Development of a dental dashboard continues
